The Landlord Academy is an organization designed with the promise to promote and build the education of Rental Landlord throughout the United States who wishes to learn more about the proper decisions to make while managing their rental properties.
Owning and managing rental properties can be a daunting task if you do not have proper education. Therefore we are offering our self-guided online course. All of our courses are designed to ensure the student walks away feeling educated and inspired.

A Word From The Founder & CEO...
Hello my name is Mr. Raymond Riley Jr, I am a passionate thought-warrior that believes in the power of knowledge. I developed The Landlord Academy on the premise that it would help thousands of residential property landlords better their knowledge and, ultimately become a better landlord in-turn. Currently I serve as the Qualifying Real Estate Broker for Magnetic Property Management based in Atlanta, GA. At Magnetic Property Management we currently assist landlords with their day to day management of their residential rental properties.
Throughout my time in the property management business I have met so many different types of personality and ideologies towards being a landlord. Some people believe they are able to manage their rental property solely because they know how to place a sign in the front yard. Others understand the importance of the proper knowledge so they hire a property manager but then, they struggle with understanding: how much that knowledge is worth. In turn, they haggle on price or simply find the cheapest property manager online, which oftentimes turns into a horrible experience for them.
Although, in a very quasi sort of way I have taught so many landlords how to become proper landlords with and without the assistance of a property manager. So, this year it dawned on me, you need to produce a course for all landlords who are interested in learning how to be a "proper" landlord. Hence, The Landlord Academy was created! The "Landlord'ing 101" course is a genuine effort to help as many landlords as I can, take back control of their rental properties, and obtain the knowledge to win as a landlord. This course will cover everything from pricing your rental property to handling maintenance calls and beyond. Nothing is left out! After taking this course you will be able to articulate all the duties involved with the management of your rental property.
